Meet Doodles

Doodles' mom writes, "Doodles is a light grey, male, Netherland Dwarf. He is approximately 2 years old. He can be a moody little thing! He HATES to be held and definitely lets you know it! Although, he loves attention and ear scratches when he is on the ground. He will grind his teeth and close his eyes because he is so content. His favorite veggie is carrots, his favorite hay is American Pet Diner 2nd cutting Timothy Hay, and his favorite fruit is an apple slice."

"My husband and I talked about getting a rabbit and we ended up buying him from a pet store as our one year wedding anniversary gift to ourselves. This was before we realized there were wonderful places like local House Rabbit Society chapters and Bunny Buddies where you could adopt a rabbit. We soon learned about a rescue group in the area called the Missouri House Rabbit Society. I got in contact with them because we knew we wanted to get him a bunny girlfriend. Not long after that, I had him neutered by a rabbit-savvy veterinarian. I then made an appointment with one of the house rabbit society's managers to meet one of the potential new bunny mates. At their meeting, they got along so well! It was most definitely a perfect match! It took less than a week to fully bond them. Doodles loves getting groomed by her. Her name is Sprinkles and she was a bunny that was mistreated but luckily they were able to take her in and take good care of her until they found her a home with us."
