Meet Sprinkles

Sprinkles' mom writes, "Sprinkles is a female blue Silver Martin. She is approximately 3 years old. She can be a little shy at times, but when she gets to know you she really loves the attention. Her absolute favorite is nose rubs and kisses. She loves to be petted for a long time and she doesn't mind being picked up or held as long as it is just for a short amount of time. She is always doing bunny flops right next to her mate, Doodles. She loves to cuddle with him. Her favorite veggie is parsley and her favorite fruit is an apple slice. She loves to chew on things like her willow baskets from Busy Bunny."

"I adopted Sprinkles through the Missouri House Rabbit Society. I was looking for a bunny mate for my other rabbit, Doodles. One day the HRS manager emailed me to let me know she had just gotten a bunny in that she thought would be a perfect match for Doodles. She told me that the people who had Sprinkles had her caged up in their garage on the top shelf. Her cage was not even big enough to use as a pet carrier to bring her to the vet in! They had her cage covered up with a towel too so the dogs would not try and get to her. They were also feeding her things like peas and corn, which of course is a bad diet for a rabbit. She had sat up in the garage like that for 5 months! Luckily the HRS had found out about Sprinkles' situation and took action to get her out of there. I am so happy to be able to give her a great home now where she gets lots of love, attention, and kisses!"
