Before we get too far,please read our Adoption Policies and our Rabbit Care Guide. If you have any questions about a particular policy or are unable to fulfill one of our requirements, please Contact Us. We might be able to help you find a solution!
An up-to-date list of all of our adoptable rabbits can be found in our new Adoption Matrix. Take note of any rabbits which would interest you, and write down their names. Many of these animals are currently in foster care (see Foster Care page if you want to know more about fostering a rabbit) and it is important for us to know who you would like to see before hand.
Note: If the rabbit has a pending request, we give priority to the first request.
Filling out our online form is quick and simple. Just go to the Documents and Forms link and select the “Online Application”. Of course if you want, you can always use the hard-copy format (also on the Documents and Forms page), but this is much slower. It also requires us to manually type all your information into our databases!
If you filled out the online form, we should get back to you within 48 hours or less!
If your application for some reason is not approved, we will want to contact you by phone to discuss the snag. In many cases, we just want to make sure that you understand the basics of rabbit care.
If all of the issue(s) precluding the approval are addressed, we are more than happy to approve your application.
Bunny Buddies conducts both bi-weekly and annual events . If we know ahead of time which events you will definitely attend, we can make sure to have your requested bunnies there. Otherwise, we can help you arrange a meeting with the foster parent of a particular rabbit. Assuming you don’t have any other issues, there is a good chance that you will be walking home from the event with your new friend.
Be ready to come to the meetup with either cash or a checkbook. We also require adopters to sign a per-rabbit adoption contract. You can also find it on the Documents and Forms page.
